Perfectly Situated

The Gordon's in Cheddar is ideally located at the base of the famous Cheddar Gorge, perfect for exploring the beautiful Mendip hills and Somerset countryside.
 
Since being taken over in September 2015, the Gordon's has been running as a family business. We pride ourselves on offering and warm, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere. Our Breakfast restaurant is full of charm and character, we Serving home-cooked breakfast made with fresh, local produce from 8:00AM-9:00AM ( choice of breakfast slot given at check in and are subject to availability of time slots.)
 

Guests are welcome to check in at any time after 4:00PM-8:00PM on the day of arrival. If you need to arrive earlier for events such as weddings, we recommend booking an additional night, as your room may not be ready. On your day of check out, please vacate your room by 10:30 AM to allow us to prepare for the next guests. 

You're welcome to park your car between the lines in our carpark from 11:30AM onwards on the day of arrival. We don't guarantee parking but we are situated opposite a public carpark which is free from 6:00PM to 9:00AM.

We hold an alcohol licensed where you can enjoy drinks around the pool or in your room  (please ask a member of staff for drinks or ask in reception). Please note that all beverages consumed in the pool area must be purchased from our bar.

Swimming Pool-

Our heated swimming pool is open daily from 9:00AM until dusk, from Mid-May to Mid-September. To help conserve heat, the pool cover will be placed on the pool when not in use- please ask a member of staff to remove the cover if you would like to swim. we kindly ask that you bring your own pool towels; however, if needed we can provide them for an additional laundry fee of £2.00 per towel.

While we don't serve evening meals, we have information in our guest lounge on various local restaurants and attractions to visit!  


Cancellation policy-

You may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival date. cancellations made after this period will incur a 100% charge of the room rate.

We strongly recommend purchasing holiday insurance for your peace of mind.



Housekeeping-

Housekeeping services are available at an additional cost of £10 per room clean.
